The Parent Governors at Ashmole would like to take the opportunity to invite you to the Parent Forum. This forum has been set up to enable you, the parents and carers, to have an opportunity to meet and raise any issues, concerns or suggestions directly with the governors who represent you in a safe and structured way.
The forum will be led by the Parent Governors and will be held up to six times a year. Parents and carers will also have the opportunity to attend a session held in the morning or directly after school.
A Parent Forum is a body which:
• enables parents and carers to meet, share ideas and feed back to the school
• gives parents and carers a voice and enables them to contribute to school decision making
• helps develop a partnership between parents/carers and school
• consults parents and carers and advises the governing body of parents/carers’ views.
An agenda is be provided at the meetings, and we hope that as many of you as possible are able to attend, as it is very important for us to be able to hear all parents' and carers' views. It will also give the governors an opportunity to address some of those issues or to ensure that they are passed on to the school in a professional manner.
The next Parent Forum meeting will be in May 2017.
